  Find A Grave Memorial# 79476274 1900 Randall Co., TX census - farmer, owns (but mortgaged) farm. 1901 Randall Co. (Canyon) TX - owns a livery operation 1903 Roswell, NM - owns a livery and transfer company 1907 Roswell, NM sell transfer company and relocates to Elkins to manage real estate office 1910 He moved from Elkins to Kansas in 1911 City Directory, Oklahoma City, cabman; Eula, Bula, Alma and Emmett and Cora all listed at same address. Daughters listed as cook or waitresses. 1930 Iola, Allen Co., KS census - dairyman R. E. Muncy and “Emmett” Muncy appear in a number of Artesia Advocate newspaper items as being from Roswell and “well known transfer man.” He had a transfer company in Roswell by 1903. In December 1907 L.N. Muncy and Sons (inc. R.E. Muncy) purchased a large tract of line in Elkins NM and R.E. Muncy moved to Elkins to manage, and the transfer business was sold to J. S. Anderson who continued to use the name “Muncy Transfer” until it was merged with another transfer company in January 1908. Find A Grave notes he died in Wise County (unlikely), buried in Kansas.
