  listed first in levy list of Missippiion Hundred in 1736. soldier in the Indian Wars August 14, 1769: Thomas Muncy, farmer of Kent County on Delaware to Joseph Furtas of Queen Ann’s County, Maryland, and Naomi, his wife for love and good will a certain Grist or Water Mill situated on the shores of the Choptank River (in Queen Anne’s County, now Caroline County). It was called Muncy’s Mill, for which Thomas Muncy had a legal conveyance from David Wardon and John Moore. (Queen Anne’s Recorder of Deed Book V.T. 26 No. H, pp 387, 388)
